In Los Angeles, AMURTEL provides a healthy breakfast for up to 400 homeless people every Sunday morning on Skid Row (on San Pedro between 5th and 6th Streets). Most of the recipients appreciate the program not only for its nutritional benefits, but because it provides much needed regularity in their itinerant and unstable lifestyles.
